Enhanced Security: Two-Factor Authentication
Your account is now protected with two-factor authentication (2FA). This adds an extra layer of security by requiring a code from your phone in addition to your password.
Setting Up 2FA:
- Go to Account Settings — Navigate to your account settings and click "Two-Factor Authentication"
- Scan the QR Code — Use an authenticator app like Google Authenticator or Microsoft Authenticator to scan the code
- Save Your Recovery Codes — Store these codes safely in case you lose access to your phone
What's New:
- Easy QR code setup for authenticator apps
- Recovery codes for backup access
- Remember this device option for trusted computers
- Grace period to set up 2FA before it becomes required
Session Security
To protect patient information, saving sessions now requires 2FA to be enabled on your account. A helpful banner will remind you if you need to set up 2FA.
Improved Login Experience
- Redesigned 2FA login page with modern styling
- Clearer instructions during the authentication process
- Link to use recovery codes if you can't access your authenticator
